About the Project

XXXLutz is one of Europe’s largest furniture retailers, with brands such as Möbelix, Mömax, and Poco. Since 2016, I have been part of the development team driving the digital transformation of these brands.

The web presences of the individual brands were completely redesigned and implemented using modern web technologies. The focus is on performance, scalability, and optimal user experience for millions of visitors every day.

Technologies

The platform is based on a modern React frontend that communicates with the backend via a GraphQL API. Node.js serves as a middleware layer for server-side rendering and API aggregation. TypeScript ensures a robust, type-safe codebase throughout the stack.
